Wedding Protocol
General Information
If the wedding couple desires for another pastor to be involved in the wedding service, his or her participation will need to be coordinated with Westminster's pastor.
The wedding couple is expected to participate in some degree of pre-marraige counseling with either their own pastor or Westminster's pastor. Another meeting will be arranged with Westminster's pastor to coordinate the ceremony and hospitality needs.
Please plan ahead. The marriage license should be available at the time of the rehearsal. If Westminster's pastor is officiating, the license will be completed, signed, and sent to the County Clerk’s Office after the wedding ceremony.
If using a different pastor, please be sure that a copy is left for Westminster's official records.

Scheduling
If the bride or the groom has been a member of our congregation for at least six months, this couple will be given priority and special financial consideration.
We do not book weddings after 4 p.m. on Saturday and through Sunday eve.
